Licensing and Usage

Event Streams is licensed based on annual message volume. The amount of messages you are entitled to will vary depending upon which Tier you purchase.

Messages

  • Messages are defined as an event that is published to an Event Streams topic or consumed by a destination client.
  • Messages are comparable to a “Document” in Boomi Integration.
  • Individual messages can be up to 1MB in size

Annual Message Volume

  • Annual message volume is defined as the number of messages published (In Messages) + number messages consumed (Out Messages) per contract year.
  • Annual message volume includes usage across all of your environments

If your usage exceeds your annual quota, Event Streams will continue to work. Boomi will contact your account administrator to discuss moving to a higher tier.

Support

Standard support is available for all Event Streams tiers including Starter. However, Premier and Premier Plus support levels require a paid Tier as listed below.

Standard SupportStandard Support provides all of the basic support material necessary to use the product. Standard Support includes:
1. Boomi documentation, user forums, and training material.
2. Live Chat and 15 case submissions per year.
3. Two business day response time.
Premier SupportPremier Support provides a higher level of technical support for Boomi customers. Premier Support includes:
1. All Standard Support features with unlimited case submissions.
2. 24/5 phone support for any severity issues.
3. An eight-business-hour case response time.

Premier Plus SupportPremier Plus Support provides the highest level of technical support for Boomi customers. Premier Plus Support includes:
1. All the features of Standard Support and Premier Support.
2. Addition of 24/7 phone support for any severity issues.
3. Four-business-hour response time.

Starter Tier

Starter Tier allows you to get hands-on experience with Event Streams without needing to purchase a paid license. Starter Tier includes all the same features as our paid tiers but with a limit of 120,000 messages per year. If you exceed the Starter annual usage you can purchase a paid tier to continue to use Event Streams. For more information please refer to the Starter Terms and Conditions below.

Starter Tier Terms and Conditions

BY CLICKING HERE, YOU (“CUSTOMER”) AGREE TO THE BOOMI MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOUND AT WWW.BOOMI.COM/MSA FOR THIS STARTER EDITION OF EVENT STREAMS (THE “FREE TRIAL”) AND THE CONTINUED USE OF THE BOOMI SERVICES (UNLESS CUSTOMER AND BOOMI ENTERED INTO A NEGOTIATED MSA, IN WHICH CASE, THE NEGOTIATED MSA WILL GOVERN THE TERMS OF THIS FREE TRIAL) (THE “AGREEMENT”). THESE TERMS ARE HEREBY FULLY INCORPORATED INTO THE TRANSACTION AND ARE AVAILABLE IN HARDCOPY FROM BOOMI UPON REQUEST. IF YOU REGISTER ON BOOMI’S WEBSITE FOR THIS FREE TRIAL, BOOMI WILL MAKE THE APPLICABLE SERVICE AVAILABLE TO YOU ON A TRIAL BASIS FREE OF CHARGE UNTIL THE EARLIER OF (A) THE END OF THE FREE TRIAL PERIOD FOR WHICH YOU REGISTERED TO USE THE APPLICABLE SERVICE, WHETHER SUCH END DATE IS BASED ON A TIME PERIOD OR USAGE LIMITS AS SET FORTH IN THE PRODUCT DOCUMENTATION; (B) THE START DATE OF ANY PURCHASED SERVICE SUBSCRIPTIONS ORDERED BY CUSTOMER FOR SUCH SERVICE(S) INCLUDED IN THE FREE TRIAL; OR (C) TERMINATION OF THE FREE TRIAL BY BOOMI IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. THE FREE TRIAL MAY BE USED ONLY TO REVIEW, DEMONSTRATE, AND EVALUATE THE SOFTWARE AND MAY HAVE LIMITED FEATURES, AND CUSTOMER IS GRANTED A RIGHT TO USE THE BOOMI SERVICES SOLELY FOR CUSTOMER’S OWN, INTERNAL EVALUATION PURPOSES. THERE IS NO FEE FOR THE FREE TRIAL, BUT CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH USAGE BEYOND THE SCOPE PERMITTED.

CUSTOMER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA CUSTOMER ENTERS INTO THE SERVICES DURING THE FREE TRIAL, AND ANY DATA OR CUSTOMIZATIONS MADE TO THE SERVICES BY OR FOR CUSTOMER DURING CUSTOMER’S FREE TRIAL WILL BE PERMANENTLY LOST UNLESS CUSTOMER PURCHASES A SUBSCRIPTION TO THE SAME SERVICES AS THOSE COVERED BY THE TRIAL.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN THE AGREEMENT, DURING THE FREE TRIAL THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS-IS” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY AND BOOMI SHALL HAVE NO INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATIONS NOR LIABILITY OF ANY TYPE WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES FOR THE FREE TRIAL PERIOD UNLESS SUCH EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY IS NOT ENFORCEABLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW IN WHICH CASE BOOMI’S LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES PROVIDED DURING THE FREE TRIAL SHALL NOT EXCEED $500. CUSTOMER SHALL BE FULLY LIABLE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT TO BOOMI AND ITS AFFILIATES FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF CUSTOMER’S USE OF THE SERVICES COVERED BY THE FREE TRIAL PERIOD, ANY BREACH BY CUSTOMER OF THE AGREEMENT, AND ANY OF CUSTOMER’S INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATIONS STATED IN THE AGREEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, AND NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN THE AGREEMENT, BOOMI DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT TO CUSTOMER THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET CUSTOMER’S REQUIREMENTS OR THAT CUSTOMER’S USE OF THE SERVICES DURING THE FREE TRIAL PERIOD WILL (A) CONFORM TO THE APPLICABLE DOCUMENTATION OR BE AVAILABLE SUBJECT TO THE DESCRIPTION IN BOOMI’S SLA AT WWW.BOOMI.COM/SLA OR SUCCESSOR SITE (THE “SLA”), OR (C) BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR FREE FROM ERROR.
